I usually find charity shops and sometimes eBay good places for buying vintage pretties cheaply. Imagine, my own Mother trying to rip me off!! Everyone recognises the Babycham brand due to their cute deer logo apart from the crap rebranding in the Nineties to a yellow B on a blue background, before returning to the cute deer again! The main difference is the style of the deer as it changes throughout the decades. The stem is hexagonal and there is a dark blue Babycham logo on the base. This type is supposed to be the rarest to find but I have seen quite a few of them listed on eBay, far more than the earlier s version listed below.

Is your booze vegan? It might seem weird at first, but your favourite drink might have more than just alcohol in it. Brewmasters, winemakers, and distillers may include animal ingredients in their products directly, or they might use them in the processing and filtration. When making the product, dairy, honey, and other things are ingredients in the final recipe.
When filtering the drinks prior to bottling, companies can use things like isinglass from fish bladder, gelatin, egg whites, and sea shells, among other things. These products grab onto the impurities and make it easier to catch them in the filters, though there are many animal-free alternatives in use.

Over the years, as dealers in glassware, we have taken thousands of pictures of glass vases, bowls, paperweights, sculptures and other glassware. After we have sold an item, it seems a shame to throw those pictures away, so we use them to create an encyclopaedia guide in the galleries shown below. We hope they will enable you discover more about the types of glass products that you are interested in collecting, or help you to identify a glass item you have come across.
Please note, we are well aware that there are some gaps, for instance, we don’t have much on French or American glass, this is simply because, as glass dealers in the UK, we don’t come across that much of it, so we don’t have many pictures with which to create a guide. Our glass encyclopaedia is aimed to be as accurate as possible. However, if you feel we have made a mistake, please contact us.
If you cannot find what you are looking for here in our glass identification guide, we strongly recommend visiting www. Our glass identification guide covers many different types of antique and vintage collectable art glass, ranging from Victorian and Art Deco glass products from British, German, Czech and French manufacturers, to highly collectable retro art glass from Scandinavian countries including Sweden, Finland, and Denmark.
And not forgetting of course, the ever popular British glassmakers such as Whitefriars, Dartington, Vasart and Wedgwood. We are constantly improving and extending our glass encyclopaedia and galleries, so please check back frequently.
This informality comes primarily from the staff members, who are welcoming, friendly and entertaining, despite the fact that those in the lobby do rather disconcertingly pop up from all angles — a simple trip to the toilet threatens free will. The atmosphere in the restaurant works really well though, balancing the need for finesse with the ability to relax, resulting in an animated and content dining room full of foodies, suits, hotel guests, ladies doing lunch and even lone diners leafing through copies of… less informative guides to London.
It would almost be remiss not to go for something from the grill, where prime cuts are beautifully flamed. The mutton works incredibly well with the smattering of lightly caramelised baby red onions, but not so well with the accompanying crisps, which are pointless and rendered redundant.
How to Date Babycham Glasses All things vintage have been making a comeback for a while, sometimes you can get an absolute bargain (I had a s Pyrex dish on a stand that I bought for £2, I ended up selling it months later on eBay for £82!) or sometimes you can end up .
Portrayed by Adrian Edmondson Vyvyan, often referred to as “Vyv”, is a psychopathic punk medical student. He has spiked red hair and four metal stars seemingly embedded into his forehead. He wears a denim waistcoat over a black T-shirt, a black studded belt across his denim jeans and bovver boots. He is extremely violent and regularly attacks Neil and Rick with pieces of wood, cricket bats, other large objects or simply his fists.
For some reason he looks up to Mike, whom he never attacks and often addresses as “Michael”. He despises Rick more than he does Neil; for example when Rick, Mike and Neil meet his mother at a bar in the episode ” Boring “, he calls both Neil and Mike his friends, but refers to Rick as “a complete bastard. This is usually provoked, such as when SPG bit Vyvyan and made him destroy his cardboard submarine in ” Flood ” or plugging in the TV after Vyvyan swallowed it in ” Bomb “.
Vyvyan’s mother is a barmaid and former shoplifter, who before “Boring” had not seen Vyvyan in ten years and has no idea who his father is. Neil revealed that Vyvyan has more friends than the other housemates but ” He eats just about anything from televisions and dead rats to caviar and cornflakes with ketchup. Regardless of his violent and mostly simple-minded nature, Vyvyan seems to be the smartest of the group and he has on a couple of occasions demonstrated his talent as a medical student.

December 8, 6: Yes Indeed, Christmas has tumbled down from the attic! However, he was kind enough to go onto say that for 50 weeks of the year the hoarding is confined to the attic. This year we had another attic hatch installed….. Thankfully, Andyman emerged from Number 3 attic cobwebbed, dusty, remarkably composed and good humoured despite dealing with the seemingly endless haul.
Every year I look forward to unwrapping familiar festive treasures.

His character is aspirational and occasionally a snob. Richie usually wears a white shirt tucked into his Y-fronts and vintage black tie with tie clip, blue jeans with a belt that clearly misses most of the loops and has a light brown raincoat when outdoors. He also occasionally wears brown trousers held up with braces, a red tie and he also wears white and pink striped pyjamas. Richie is a virgin, and Eddie stole Richie’s only ever ‘girlfriend’, Ethel Cardew, and sometimes torments Richie with how he had sex with her.
Although in the episode “Terror”, in series three, Eddie looks distinctly nervous when he claims that the Devil drinks virgin’s blood. Natasha agrees to marry Richie, much to his disbelief and delight, and he is naively oblivious to the fact that she is marrying him because she thinks he is a millionaire and she has lost her entire fortune. Towards the end of the episode, Richie moves in to have sex with Lady Natasha, but unfortunately he becomes so nervous that he has a heart attack and is rushed to hospital.
Whilst inside the ambulance, Eddie claims to have had sex with Lady Natasha.

Nosing brings out spicy notes, as well as citrus and other fruity aromas. There is pepper, apricot, and green apple peels. There is really not much else of note. It is very straightforward in it’s approach. Similarly, the first sip is no nonsense, as well. Right off the bat one tastes black pepper, with the sharpness of green apple following closely behind. Underneath is a sweetness of fruit. As the Rye warmth rises in your chest, a mild vanilla quality comes with it and, finally, the baking spices which are the hallmark of the grain.
The addition of a little water really ramps up the sweet fruit flavours, leaving the pepper spice notes as a mere tickle on the tongue. Other than this change, there really is no other effect to be gained by it’s presence. So, what to make of this? This is a very approachable whisky, and a great introduction to Rye as a primary ingredient.
But it is very basic in it’s profile, and left me hoping for more, especially after last week’s experience. That said, it is an excellent value for the dollar, and would likely do nicely in your favourite cocktail, as well.
